Exhibited on N.E.W., at sculpture court, Edinburgh College of Art (ECA), 14 January 2008

This work was drawn after the trip to Cove Park, Scotlan. Again I write down the visualization of the memory preserved in my mind after a trip, so as to recognize what is meaningful (or memorizable) to me. And also by this work I search a dimension of reality in my life- What is left in my mind after experiencing new surroundings?

The maps not only point out the geographical position of Cove Park. It is also a reflection of my mind mirror-from then on, this space joined my life time. It becomes meaningful, memorizable and obtainable as I can find it in my mind map. It may fade away one day, but since the day I experience it, a beautiful space, a series of images is truly there by the form of memory. I see it as a part of pure reality.

This drawing was made in my rented flat.
